We provide an online platform for recording, transcribing, storing, and compiling personal stories, which can be turned into printed or digital books. Services are accessible globally, but we primarily market to customers in New Zealand and Australia.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, unlawful activity, or breach of these terms.
You own all recordings, transcripts, and photos you upload or create within our platform. You grant us a limited, revocable licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide our services. You may delete your content at any time. We will permanently delete your stored content 1 year after your account is closed.
Any AI-generated prompts or transcriptions are provided “as is” and may contain inaccuracies. We do not claim copyright over AI-generated prompts.
Access to editing tools is included for 18 months from the date of purchase. After this period, continued access may require an additional purchase. Prices are in NZD unless otherwise stated.
Printed books are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective. If a replacement is not possible, a refund may be issued in line with the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or applicable local consumer laws.
You must not: Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content. Use our services for commercial purposes without our consent. Attempt to interfere with our systems or security.
We may modify or discontinue parts of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
We provide the service “as is” without warranties beyond those required by law. To the maximum extent permitted, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts. Mandatory local consumer rights apply for overseas customers.

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, in compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
Account Information – Name, email, password. Content – Recordings, transcriptions, photos you upload. Technical Data – Device/browser information (website only, not in the app). Cookies & Analytics – Used only on our main website for performance and marketing.
We use your information to: Provide, maintain, and improve the service. Store and make your recordings/transcriptions accessible to you. Process payments. Respond to enquiries and provide support.
Data is stored on Google Cloud Firestore servers, which may be located internationally. We use encryption and secure protocols to protect your content. Your content is retained while your account is active and for 1 year after account closure, after which it is permanently deleted.
You own your content. You can delete it at any time. We do not use your story content for analytics, training AI, or marketing within the web app located at web.memorystream.co.
We will only share your personal data: When required by law. When necessary to provide the service (e.g., payment processors, printing partners). With your explicit consent.
You can: Access the personal data we hold about you. Request corrections. Request deletion of your account and content.
