When we first set out to create Memory Stream, we really had a mission: we wanted to fix all the headaches we saw in other memoir platforms. One of the big issues we noticed was that people—especially parents and their generation—would try to fill out these memoir systems on their phones.
They'd end up just tapping out bullet points of their life, which made for some pretty dry and, frankly, not-so-great memoirs. The real magic always happened in conversation—when people could actually talk about their stories.
So, with Memory Stream, we decided to solve that problem by using smart follow-up questions and a voice-only approach. That way, the person’s natural voice shines through, and they’re not stuck typing out stiff little notes.
Every Memory Stream book has these neat QR codes in each chapter, so you can actually hear those stories in the person's own voice.
We’re not about rewriting things with AI or making it sound like a robot wrote it—if you want that, sure, there are tools for it. But we wanted to keep it authentic and easy to use.
Our demo book in the video is a softcover, but the finished ones are 6x9 hardcover editions. And

Typically, 120–250 pages, depending on how many stories, interviews, and photos you include. There is a 300-page limit on the standard books, but we can discuss larger books if needed..
